Yeah, I know I rarely do fan-art, and almost never for fan-fiction, despite the insane amount of stories I read. But I had to feed my obsession with this awesome story somehow!! I highly recommend you all read it. I never thought I would ACTUALLY like anyone's OC's this much. ^_^;;

Anyways, as far as the specs for this piece go, I had to do it twice; once the usual way (scanning, inking and coloring it by scratch in Photoshop).... Then, as I was fiddling with the original sketch (since the digital version was horrible), I remembered this artist I talked to at AX, whose art was amazing, and I decided to try his style mix my mediums a bit, (even if I was only using graphite) instead of starting from scratch.
So about a day and a half later, I'm done. It turned out pretty well, I think! His hair took ages, but I wanted it to be as pretty as Evandar described it in the fic, with a sort of silver-white sheen. But honestly? I doubt I could ever do Linael justice. He is, in my mind, just too gorgeous for my skills. XD
